  Trust Me, Try it: Starface Hydro-Patches   Just as I was winning the battle against my acne the world went into lockdown. While I do count myself lucky to be an essential worker, the constant mask-wearing began to undo all the progress I had made in the past year. The chafing on the lower half of my face brought on painful pimples which left dark marks in their wake. I had been recommended silk masks, but they were out of my price range, so when I saw Starface’s Hydro-Patches online I decided to experiment. I’d tried overnight spot patches in the past, but I always woke up with them stuck to my pillow. What attracted me to Starface’s range was, you guessed it, their star shape. Those points act as tiny arms that cling to your face while you lie on your pillow or, I figured, wear a mask.  I placed three stars on the whiteheads on my chin and wore a fabric mask on top. I didn’t feel the patches budge at all while I chatted to customers or removed my mask for water breaks....

About Page DJ Vivaldi is an Irish-born, London-based techno artist who has emerged out of quarantine with a flourishing fanbase. Though he was raised on Motown and old school R&B, his passion for music was ignited by the 90’s rave scene. Inspired by Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox, he began creating his own music until his disapproving father intervened. Though he was forced out of a music career, he never gave up his love of it. He stayed an avid listener of techno as he worked his 9 to 5 job and raised five children. After realising that music had stayed his number one passion throughout the years, he decided to pick up where he left off and immersed himself once again in the rave scene.  DJ Vivaldi began his career with Full Tec Recordings, producing two E.Ps: ‘Uncharged’ and ‘The Game’. After being signed by DaCosta Records in 2019, DJ Vivaldi released his single ‘You Know’ in August of the same year. During the lockdown of 2020, he doubled down and released another single ‘5 AM’ ...
